THE EVOLUTION OF QUANTUS
The Quantus Carbon Beast is a return to an automatic Quantus. The two piece case created for the version 2 edition has continued forward but initially limited the spacing needed for a rotor. This issue took us over 3 years to solve but is now available in the limited edition Quantus Carbon Beast.
AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT
The exhibition caseback now highlights the beautiful dual balance wheel movement in all it's glory. The Egard branded rotor is designed to make sure the movement powers itself based on the movement of your wrist.

CURVED SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL AND CASE
The oblong case and crystal found on the Quantus is a trademarked specialty of the Égard brand.
The sapphire crystal placed in the Quantus is one of the most difficult crystal shapes to cut. The oblong nature of the crystal must fit perfectly in the case which is a challenge in itself. Our team spent over a year perfecting the technique of cutting the crystal perfectly. The crystal is curved on top and bottom. It has a curvature throughout the entire crystal as well to wrap the case.
The Quantus V2 is the first time we upgraded our case by separating it into two pieces. This continued on with this series. This allows the piece to be significantly sturdier and have much cleaner and stronger coating. The curvature of the case allows the 43mm case to wrap perfectly to any wrist.

Do not be afraid! the Beast is not as scary as you might think. I was a little worried about how big it would look and how heavy it would feel. It's surprisingly comfortable and does not feel as heavy as I was expecting. Feels amazingly natural on the wrist. Besides being good looking and cool. (Still talking about the watch)

As a watch enthusiast with more than 35 watches in my collection including Rolex and a number of swiss movement watches, the Carbon Beast has become one of my favorite watches! Beautiful to look at if you are interested in the unique movement, which captured my attention, and the attention to detail. It wears smaller than I thought it would given it's rather robust dimensions. The shape of the watch is a game changer with it's sapphire crystal as a bonus. So very well done I may order the Quantus V3 Rose. It also is a conversation piece - with two balance wheels - which must work together for the watch to keep time! Now there is a clear illustration for teamwork don't you think. Fantastic watch!
I've been wanting to try an egard for a couple of years because of your ads, but my watch money went into a couple of hamiltons first. I wasn't sure about a Chinese movement, but that double heartbeat and curved sapphire crystal were enough to at least try it. I'm glad I did as this looks much nicer in person and on my 8 inch wrist. my ecozilla is bigger so I knew it wouldn't be an issue for me size wise. the beast looks perfectly at home on my wrist. I was hoping the band would be a little longer; I'm using the second to last hole. do you sell longer bands separately? anyway, I'm loving the watch and the company. my poor hamiltons and citizens will be neglected for quite a while. really looking forward to getting the phantom!
What an incredibly, beautiful timepiece! Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. I bought the watch to support an anti-woke company and much to my delight, I got a stunning timepiece, also!!! The clasp is top-notch. The band is comfortable. And the timepiece is a work of art. I can't compliment this watch enough!! Well done!!

A very different look unlike any other watch in the market. A keeper
I've purchased 4 watches from egards. The last one was the Poseidon Octo. That watch caught my wife's eye. I own a large collection and she never says anything about the other watches I wear. The Octo is a stunner. The Carbon Beast fits very comfortable and just looks tough and manly. I also own it's Rose Gold brother the Quantus V3 and the Phantom Rose Gold. It's a good day wearing any Egard Watch, they all look great.

I was sceptical of its build quality at first. But now after having this Carbon Beast watch for over a month, I absolutely love this unique unusual watch. No regret buying it. Will now definitely consider the tourbillon watch if Egard brings it back with a new phase production.

I absolutely flipping LOVE this watch!! The workmanship exceeds the price point. I am hooked as soon as I saw it on my wrist. I will be purchasing one for my son who just graduated law school.
Upon initially purchasing a watch from a small brand I did not know what to expect, however, I was surprised by the overall quality and feel of the watch upon receiving it. The watch feels fairly rich for the price and the curved sapphire glass looks quite extraordinary. There is a nice bit of finishing on the movement which is also very good for the price. This watch does indeed appear quite chunky and large however, if you have anything larger than a 7 inch wrist it should fit with no problems. This all would give the watch a 5 star, however what brings it down are small imperfections which overall ruin the look and feel of the watch. The XII on the top of the watch is crooked and misaligned, there are small but very obvious pieces of gunk or debris sitting on the top of the dial. The last problem being large amounts of stains which are really apparent when the sun hits the watch at particular angles, as if someone handled the parts with their bare hands and did not care to wipe them. The watch by itself is very nice for the price, it is a pity that lack of care towards the watch is what ruins the overall experience and feel of the watch.
This is the very first quality watch I have ever purchased. In the past I would buy basic watches and when the battery would wear out or they would get damaged I would just toss them and buy another. I do have a Garmin sports watch I use when doing exercise, but I prefer something nicer for work and my day to day. When I first heard about these watches I was curious, did some research and saw their story and knew I had to support this company. Not only did the design look great (what originally drew me in) but the company's vision and ethics sealed the deal. I love the fact I have an auto watch that looks excellent with all the various gears and attention to detail showing. I was worried about the size at first but it fits nicely on my wrist and I can thank my sports watch for getting me used to something a bit larger. The weight feels good and isn't as heavy as I expected. What a brilliant design and I am glad to own something so original and well made.
