Unique & Crazy Shoe Trends Coming in 2016

For Spring 2016, there are some unique and crazy shoe designs coming. One featured show has see-through heeled marble women’s boots from Dior. Another women’s shoe design is from Alexandar Wang designs and has a slightly gothic feel. There are also shoes that have the look of aluminum foil. An additional upcoming shoe style has the shoes wrapped in netting, all the way down to the heal of the shoe. The craziest shoe style we’ve seen recently is a hybrid platform-stilt shoe. The craziest of the shoes that came out were mostly women’s shoes.

The staple men’s shoe styles are tastefully being reworked for 2016. This includes the gamut from the Shearling-tongue sneakers and the crisscross fabric-sandals-dressier designs. These are getting the most attention in the men’s high end shoes in all fashion shows. A lace-less message is also prevalent in men’s shoes for 2016. We’re all for a big velcro comeback, or fashionable alternatives/new takes on the tech.

For women’s footwear in 2016, there are perfect ankle booties created with the fall and winter seasons in mind. They are high enough to protect you from the ice and keep you warm while still low enough to show off your legs. The wool and leather boots made by Hugo Boss look really amazing. Francesco Scognamiglio makes really lovely lace up peep-toe designs. The eye catching zip in front of the Roland Mouret booties will not go unnoticed.

Reptile Shoes Kenzo is the king in perfectly scaled snakeskin designs. They have green and red variations designs that give a true reptile image. Other designers like Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem give designs with multiple textures with the tops looking like an alligator skin.

Chunky heeled footwear gives a stylishly sexy look while still giving you stability as compared to teetering on stilettos. This is why almost every single designer has them. From Erdem to Emilio Pucci to Givenchy and from Miu Miu to Giorgio Armani, Derek Lam to Donna Karan.

Classic pumps are the queens of the runways. They vary from the pink coral colored Vivienne Westwood pieces to Celine’s dazzling designs with embellishments and beads. Also looking awesome are Nina Ricci simplistic tones to shape the timeless shoe trends of all time.
